They trusted me

Transversal tech lead

I helped CNAM (french National Fund for Health Insurance) find ways to improve productivity: automate parts of delivery, introduce new API and integration tests, and always assist developers and help them grow to be more productive while keeping quality in mind.

Senior backend engineer, team lead

I helped Disneyland Paris migrate a core legacy service accross AWS regions and from Java 8 to 17. Retro-engineer the service, then help the team refactor it and sanitize its REST contracts and error handling.

Independent technical consultant

I helped Ubu, a young startup in Paris, industrialise processes and regression testing. Work on cross-cutting concerns libraries and tutor developers so that the company can scale their architecture and staff without fear.

My background

After completing a DUT in Dijon and then an engineering degree at INSA Lyon, my professional journey began in a very conventional way: at an IT services company in Lyon, where the assignments I was given left me under-stimulated.

In 2018, I decided to go freelance and work remotely — a choice that brought me incredible opportunities:

  • In France and abroad
  • In both innovative start-ups and established tech giants
  • Across a variety of technical stacks
  • In diverse roles, from backend development to wide-scope technical leadership (covering architecture, security, and other key concerns)

These experiences have strengthened my versatility and shaped my vision of software in all its breadth and complexity — not only from a technical perspective, but also from an economic and, above all, human standpoint.

Testimonials from those I've worked with

“Highly committed, makes the right solution choices, autonomous and confident”

Your arrival on the project energized the whole team, brought a fresh perspective to technical decisions, and personally allowed me to offload several topics — from development to maintenance and Level 2 & 3 support. I’d be delighted to work with you again, because: 1. You are extremely professional 2. You push me to go further and re-evaluate my solution choices 3. I know I can rely on you for everything related to development, testing, and deployment.

— Jean-Jacques ETUNE NGI, tech lead

“Exchanges of exceptional human and professional quality”

Quentin immediately gave me the impression of someone who had full mastery of the technical topics I needed help with, and with whom I could have constructive discussions on advanced technical subjects.

— Nicolas, Fullstack Developer

“I was impressed by your ability to take a step back and weigh the pros and cons”

I saw you rise through the ranks, manage a team, lead meetings, be proactive on many technical and functional topics, propose code improvements... You can take on topics completely autonomously and see them through to completion, while keeping in mind supervision, maintainability, performance, and the bigger picture. Most importantly, our first collaboration gave me confidence in your work. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with you again!

— Philippe LEBOC, Backend Developer

“Motivating and proactive from day one”

It’s a pleasure to work with someone who specializes in backend but remains approachable and inspiring.

— Yann ALARY, Designer

“Very friendly, resourceful, and clearly masters his topics”

You communicate very well within the team, you share information effectively, and you mentor the developer you work with. You’re up to date with best technical practices, which makes your colleagues trust the decisions you make.

— Bassam EL KHOURY, Backend Developer

“Dynamic, serious, and willing”

Good mood combined with efficiency at work.

— Morgan JEREMIE, Scrum Master
